East 40 was built in 1973 by Ed & Joan, who are responsible for the design and most of the collectibles you see here today. The antiques, pictures and fireplaces have been collected from travels throughout Europe and the United States. The bar is from an old saloon in Montana, the chandelier is from Spain and the stain glass windows are from the old Methodist church here in Bismarck.
